Dunnottar –The Cool Dads Foundation, in partnership with the Thabang Xaba Foundation, Ekurhuleni Metro and the Gauteng Gambling Board, heeded the call to do their bit for Mandela Day by visiting the CHANCE Children’s Home, last Friday.

Volunteers of the Cool Dads Foundation and their stakeholders spent their day at CHANCE Children’s Home, in Dunnottar. The volunteers kicked off their day by doing work around the orphanage, including cleaning, painting, gardening, cooking and revamping. A number of donations were also afforded to the centre, such as new laptops, toiletries, blankets and books. The partnership with the organisation’s stakeholders gave Cool Dads the much needed help to make a difference in the lives of the children, who were the recipients of the donations. “As an organisation we appreciate the high level of professionalism rendered by our stakeholders and friends,” says Cool Dads founder Bongani Luvalo. “We managed to have a productive day at the orphanage, as the magnitude of work achieved for the day filled us with euphoria and positive energy, and the turnout of people wanting to volunteer their time and help out was overwhelming. “The foundation would like to thank everyone for their willingness to be part of our initiative.” https://africanreporter.co.za/69773/cool-dads-do-it-for-the-children/
